Clinical research

Complete blood count is one of the key diagnostic methods. It gives information about leukocytes (as well leukocyte count), erythrocytes, hemoglobin, platelets, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate.

Within 1 minute 24 indicators of complete blood count can be provided for which quite small volume of blood, 20 ml, is required.

Sismex XS -500i is a fully automated hematology analyzer. Here the analysis is conducted by flow cytofluorometry method.

Complete blood count with WBC count (24 indicators plus 2 Research parameters: skatagram and histogram) with Sismex XS -500i equipment (Japan).

Erythrocyte sedimentation rate is estimated by Westergren method (30 minutes).

A complete urinalysis provides information about general properties of urine (pH, color, turbidity, existence of sediment). Urisys 1010 analyzer provides chemical properties of urine. This is an automated strip analyzer, which provides 10 indicators within 1 minute (pH, density, GLU, Nit, Bil, Urob, Keton, Hb,Prot, Leyk.). Human factor is excluded.

“Helios” offers also microscopic examination of urine, which is quite informative and gives generalized information on the condition of kidneys and urinary.

Microscopic study of infected skin, mucous membranes, nails and damaged hair is the main diagnostic method for fungal diseases.

Semen analyses aims to analyze male fertility (infertility). Spermiogram is the analyses of spermatogenesis which provides information about sperm’s physical features, morphology and sperm motility.
